Join a feeding tour during the summer holidays and discover the rare animal breeds in ‘t Zuiderzeedorp. In July and August, you can join every weekend. On Saturdays and Sundays, our museum educator heads into the museum village to feed the animals, and you get to join in!

Along the way, meet the goats, sheep, chickens, and pigs that live in the museum. Watch how they eat, hear their stories, and discover what makes these special breeds so unique. Did you know, for example, that some of these animals have been present in the Zuiderzee region for centuries?

The feeding tour is not only fun to watch, but also educational for young and old. Feel free to ask your questions – our museum educator will be happy to tell you more about the behavior and care of the animals.
