Meet the volunteers of KNRM Enkhuizen this summer. They are holding an Open Boat event in the Compagnieshaven in Enkhuizen on Wednesday evening, August 5, and Saturday afternoon, August 22.
You can take a look on board the lifeboat and ask the rescuers all sorts of questions. The volunteers are happy to tell you about the special rescue work, exciting operations, the weekly training nights, and their two lifeboats: the Watersport and the Corrie Dijkstra – Van Elk.
They can also explain how the handy KNRM Helpt app works and tell you how to become a volunteer or Shore Rescuer.
And for anyone who would still like to purchase a KNRM pennant or cap: these are available at the KNRM stall on the quay.
