Wim Boon is certainly no stranger to the live music circuit here in the wider area. He has more than earned his stripes, particularly in the blues and blues/rock genres. He played in bands such as Down the Drain, Sweep d’ Ville, Double U Bean, Streetwise, and The Jack (an AC/DC cover band). With Double U Bean, he produced the CD “Muddy Creek,” which can be listened to on Spotify. On the local site Koppop, Willem is called West Friesland’s only ‘Real Blues Man.’ Join Willem on a musical journey. From the Mississippi Delta to Chicago. He accompanies himself on fingerpicking guitar, slide guitar, harmonica, and stompfoot. Songs by old blues masters such as John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Slim Harpo, Jimmy Reed, Little Walter, and others pass in review.
