Admire the many historic fishing vessels in the museum harbor, listen to musical sailor’s tales, and participate in one of the maritime activities. Do you love shanty music? Throughout the week, various shanty choirs from the Netherlands and abroad will be performing their seafaring music. You can find them at various locations in the Zuiderzee village.
Musical program
During Maritime Week, you can enjoy live music every day in ‘t Zuiderzeedorp, featuring choirs like LocTup Together, Paddy’s Passion, and Shantykoor Rotterdam. On August 6th and 7th, the Nautilus one-man band will surprise you with its unique instruments. Want to make music yourself? Participate in the Jig Dolls workshop.
