Koopkorenfestival Enkhuizen

During the Koopkorenfestival, the historic city center of Enkhuizen transforms into one large stage for choral music. Choirs from all over the country perform their repertoire at various locations throughout the city. The performances take place at unique venues in the city center. For instance, choirs sing outdoors among shoppers, in restaurant De Eendracht in Van Bleiswijk, and in the beautiful Westerkerk and Zuiderkerk. Visitors can enjoy the various performances while strolling through the city.

The Koopkorenfestival is not about competition, but about meeting people and having fun. Every choir brings its own sound, style, and energy. It is precisely this diversity that makes the festival special and ensures a varied program for both singers and the audience. Together with the choirs, the entrepreneurs, and the public, we create an enjoyable day every year where choral music takes center stage.
