As a teacher and education enthusiast, the artist has an inner drive to let young people and adults learn and discover. She does this in her work, but also as a part-time autodidact artist. She enjoys depicting life themes related to, for example, connection, well-being, and mental health. Sometimes she combines this with text. Her work is figurative, not realistic.

Keywords that further characterize her work are colorful & nature. She wants you, as a viewer, to experience that art can be personally meaningful to you. Through her work, she likes to create space for (inner) dialogue. She initiates this by asking activating, playful questions. If this leads to greater mutual understanding, connection with yourself or others, and enjoyment in looking at art, her goal is achieved.

Upon request, she is happy to give a free ’45-minute personal art viewing tour’ of the exhibition (2-5 people).
