Our luxury sailing ship is equipped for groups of 25 people or more, making it the perfect location for a wedding on the water, a group outing, a company party, a family day, or a team-building day. Hoist the sails of our luxury sailing ship and enjoy the beautiful view. You decide where to depart from; if you have a goal or a wish, we will try to make it come true together.

Sailing on the IJsselmeer and Markermeer: fun for everyone

You do not need any sailing experience to sail for a day on the Party Ship Abel Tasman. Our nautical crew will be happy to teach you how to steer, hoist the sails, and brace the sails. The high, enclosed bulwark makes the ship safe for small children, and the wide gangways make the ship accessible to guests with mobility issues. Don’t feel like sailing? Then enjoy the view over the water or have a drink in the cozy lounge or ship’s bar.

Luxury party ship

Come aboard the sailing ship Abel Tasman for a day and enjoy the convivial atmosphere and facilities while sailing on the IJsselmeer, Markermeer, or the Wadden Sea. With a maximum of 120 guests, you will enjoy well-catered food and drinks on board the party ship, prepared in our professional kitchen.

The ship

On our ship, you will find the following amenities, among others:

1. A lounge on deck with a cozy ship’s bar
2. A spacious lounge with comfortable sofas and chairs
3. Buffet area with wide passageway
4. A wheelhouse with a cozy seating area
5. Good sanitary facilities

On the ship’s deck, you can help sail on the IJsselmeer or the Wadden Sea. Enjoy a performance by an acoustic duo in the ship’s bar, while dance music fills the lounge.

The party boat is stylishly furnished with chic dark wood paneling, plenty of brass, and a robust wooden floor: a nod to the atmosphere of a grand café.

Individual trip to the Markerwadden

Leave the hustle and bustle behind and treat yourself to a day of relaxation, fresh air, and beautiful moments. From Lelystad and Hoorn, we sail together towards the enchanted Markerwadden. On selected Sundays, we hoist the sails and you experience the true feeling of sailing – together with our enthusiastic crew. Arrived? Time to explore! Stroll through nature and enjoy everything this unique island has to offer for about 2 hours. The enjoyment begins on board: we welcome you with coffee or tea and a treat. Afterwards, we serve a tasty Abel Tasman lunch, and on the return journey, we surprise you with delicious snacks. (Drinks are not included.)
