In the Moroccan coastal town of Tangier, 74-year-old Spaniard María Ángeles enjoys her quiet and familiar life. Her world crumbles when her daughter Clara unexpectedly arrives from Madrid with the decision to sell the family apartment. However, María refuses to be simply sent away and begins a determined fight to preserve her beloved home and memories. During this process of resistance and rebellion, she not only rediscovers her own resourcefulness, but, to her own surprise, a new, unexpected love also blossoms.
