During the Maritime Event Enkhuizen, from Friday, July 31 to Sunday, August 2, the inner harbor is filled with historic ships. Around the Drommedaris, it buzzes with activity that Saturday: music, performances, a maritime market along the dike, and a varied program of lectures, films, and walks centered around the sailing heritage.
On Saturday, August 1, the En Plein Air Day will once again take place amidst this maritime setting. In collaboration with the National Association for the Preservation of Historic Commercial Vessels (LVBHB), artists are invited to capture the event and the historic ships. All visual art forms are encouraged: drawing and painting, but weaving or sculpting are also welcome.
Would you like to participate? It is free and registration is not mandatory, but it is helpful for the organization. Please register before July 31 at info@kunstenkhuizen.nl (coffee offered upon registration).
