In the mood for a special evening full of atmosphere, taste, and stories? Let yourself be carried away on Saturday, July 4, during the exclusive Amusetour at the authentic Zuiderzee Museum. A unique experience where history, gastronomy, and the balmy evening atmosphere come together. You will receive a warm welcome in restaurant Het Peperhuis, where your evening begins with the first tasty amuse-bouche. Afterwards, an enthusiastic museum guide will take you on a journey of discovery through the atmospheric Zuiderzee village while enjoying stories about the Zuiderzee.

In small groups of up to 25 people, you will walk past iconic locations such as Café Hindeloopen, Coffee House Hoorn, the fish smokehouse, the shipyard, and restaurant Het Amsterdamse Huis. Along the way, you will enjoy five surprising amuse-bouches: refined bites with vegetables, meat, or fish, inspired by places around the former Zuiderzee and the current IJsselmeer. Each amuse-bouche is accompanied by a carefully selected wine or non-alcoholic alternative.

Let yourself be surprised by the flavors and the stories of the past, as the summer evening slowly falls over the Zuiderzee village.
