Spanish and Latin American passion at the Drommedaris

On Sunday 11 October at 11.00 am, Muziekkring Enkhuizen welcomes a special duo to the Drommedaris:

Mayke Rademakers (cello) and Matthijs Verschoor (piano).

With their programme ‘La Furia’, they take you into the world of Spanish and Latin American music. Expect a concert full of passion, temperament and beautiful timbres.

Although ‘la Furia’ literally means ‘anger’ or ‘fury’, in music the concept stands for something much broader: acting on intuition and passion, giving yourself completely and experiencing the music to the full.

A Sunday morning to look forward to

Mayke Rademakers and Matthijs Verschoor have been performing as a duo since 2005. Their interplay is characterised by lyricism, distinctive timbres and direct contact with the audience.

Please note: there will be no interval during this concert.

Afterwards, you are warmly invited to stay for a while and chat over a drink. To mark the end of our 80th anniversary celebrations, we will serve a festive petit four!
