Bier in de Toren: proof de reisen van verlen homen

On Friday 2 and Saturday 3 April 2027, De Drommedaris in Enkhuizen will transform into the setting for a special beer festival: Bier in de Toren.

This will not be a standard beer festival, but a complete experience where beer, history, culture, and atmosphere come together. In the centuries-old city gate of Enkhuizen (where beer barrels literally used to enter the city), visitors embark on a journey from the past to the present.

What can you do?

You begin your visit with a short tasting experience where sight, sound, smell, and taste come together. Afterwards, you walk through the two festival zones in De Drom and taste the stories behind the beers directly from the brewers themselves.

In addition to specialty beers, you can count on:

• live music;

• suitable snacks;

• a unique historical location;

• an intimate festival atmosphere with a strong focus on quality and experience.

Clothing and entertainment

Because De Drommedaris is a historic location with characterful, intimate spaces, we consciously opt for a small-scale setup. At Bier in de Toren, we prioritize quality over quantity. That is why we work with different time slots, so that every visitor has the space to walk around at their leisure, enjoy live music, discover special beers, and truly engage in conversation with the brewers.

A limited number of visitors are welcome per time slot. This keeps the atmosphere relaxed, and the festival revolves around experience, attention, and taste.
