Sprookjeswonderland
Sprookjeswonderland is an enchanting park for families as well as for grandparents with grandchildren. There is all sorts of things to experience! Peek inside the gnome houses or sail yourself in a float boat. You can pet animals in the petting zoo and play in the large playground. In addition to fairy tale displays, there is a real Oldtimer Track and an exciting Fencepedition!
Zuiderzeemuseum
See, hear, feel, taste and smell daily life around the Zuiderzee, before the Afsluitdijk turned the Zuiderzee into the IJsselmeer in 1932. Playground Kindervreugde

Indoor and outdoor activities
There are plenty of indoor and outdoor activities available in Enkhuizen and the surrounding area. In the Streekbos in Bovenkarspel you can climb and clamber in the climbing park, swim, sail and play in the playground. Or have a great time playing miniature golf at Wat Aars in Onderdijk. At Happy Days in Grootebroek you can go bowling, karting, darts and paintballing.
Museum Steam Tram
The most exciting time travel by steam streetcar and boat! The ship "Friesland" sails between Enkhuizen and Medemblik along the beautiful coast of Westfriesland. Between Medemblik and Hoorn, ride the steam streetcar past blooming tulip fields and historic station buildings. The historic triangle is a fun day out for the whole family!

Visitor center ‘Hertenkamp Enkhuizen’ is located in the middle of the Wilhelminaplantsoen. This is a unique place in Enkhuizen, where children and adults can come into contact with all kinds of farm animals, play and discover in nature. The tea garden overlooking the deer meadow, the petting zoo, the nature playground and the nature garden are free to visit. In addition to the free drop-in hours, a variety of activities are held throughout the year.

Sprookjeswonderland is an enchanting park for young families or grandparents with grandchildren. Peek inside the gnome houses, sail all by yourself in the Dobberbootjes, pet the goats and donkey in the petting zoo, come slide, spin and swing in the large playground, go on a stormy journey in swing ship ‘d Avontuur or fly with witch Hupsakee in the Hekspeditie!
Fairytale Wonderland is closed in the fall (from the autumn vacations), except for the annual winter opening around the Christmas vacations. The park is then completely transformed into winter atmospheres.
Playground Kindervreugde has a train with wagon and coal wagon and a super high climbing net pyramid. But also the big slide, swings and seesaws make this playground worth a visit for young and old.
The playground is open from April 1 to October 31.
Attractions in the region
There is also plenty to do in the vicinity of Enkhuizen. In recreation area Het Streekbos, for example, you will find Volkssterrenwacht Orion and IVN Westfriesland in one building with restaurant IJgenweis. Miniature golf, billiard golf, curling and pool ball. That is possible at Wat Aars. Wat Aars is located in the municipality of Medemblik and has a beautifully landscaped new miniature golf park. Great for a fun day in the open air. Lovely relaxing for young and old!
