Zwembad de Weid

The swimming pool was officially opened in 1990 and was built at the time to replace the old open-air swimming pool ‘Flipper’ on the Kleinouw. Swimming pool De Weid is open every year during the summer season from the end of April to the second week of September.

In 2013, the management of the swimming pool was transferred to the ‘Friends of De Weid Foundation’ and has since been 95% run by volunteers. An enthusiastic team of volunteers is ready for you at the cash register, takes care of the maintenance of the entire site and the swimming pools, takes care of press releases and our social media, helps with special activities such as disco swimming and much more.
