Visitor center Hertenkamp Enkhuizen
The Hertenkamp Enkhuizen visitor center is located in a unique location on the edge of the city of Enkhuizen and the IJsselmeer. In the middle of the Wilhelminaplantsoen, a green oasis for young and old. The center houses the beautiful children’s farm (‘Syngentahoeve’) and a beautiful Nature Environment and Education (NME) center. The adjacent botanical garden is unique, with a wide range of ‘wild’ plants that give extra attention to biodiversity. Activities are regularly organized for young and old. In the conservatory you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while enjoying the view of the animals on the deer meadow and the petting zoo, the walkers along the Groene Wierdijk, and the large horse chestnut on the square.
