Station Enkhuizen
The monumental station building dates from 1885, the year when the Enkhuizen-Hoorn railway line was taken. The waterfront location was ideal for connection to the Enkhuizen-Stavoren ferry and for the shipping of goods wagons with the steam dam. Due to its particularly beautiful architecture, there is a miniature version of the station in Madurodam.
