Horse races

This festive day in Enkhuizen starts at 09.30 am with a procession of horses and authentic carriages through the city center. The parade starts at the Koepoort and then goes via the Westerstraat, Breedstraat and Dijk to the Paktuinen. At the Paktuinen, the clean-up and ring-marking starts at 10:00. The short track trotting race for the Grand Prix of Enkhuizen starts at 1.30 pm. To conclude, you can enjoy a dazzling fireworks display at 8.45 pm (Jetty Dirck Chinaplein in front of ‘t Vuurtje).
