Photo afternoons at Sow to Grow: a unique look at the history of the seed industry.
The Sow to Grow Museum is organizing two special photo viewing afternoons on Saturday, March 14th, and Sunday, March 15th. These afternoons will feature a unique selection from the museum’s extensive photo collection, with images that offer a unique glimpse into the period from around 1880 onward.
Visitors will see historical photographs depicting work on trial fields, characteristic buildings of seed companies in the region, and activities in gardens, fields, and on farms. The collection offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of seed production and plant breeding through the years.
The photo exhibition is free to enter and takes place in the museum’s Regentessezaal. Regular admission to the permanent collection is charged. Visitors with a Museum Card have free access to the entire museum and can discover the history of the seed industry here.
The exhibition and the museum are both open from 12:00 to 17:00.
