As a child, Frea May-van der Veen enjoyed taking drawing lessons at the Drommedaris. Her colorful work, categorized as Modern Impressionism, has been acquired by government agencies and many private individuals. After a beautiful solo exhibition at the Westfries Museum in 2006, her work has gained significant traction. Now that she has retired from teaching at numerous venues, she is devoting all her attention to her work in various techniques.

All this can be admired in her exhibition in the Blue Hall in Enkhuizen Town Hall.
