Carnavalsoptocht Enkhuizen 2026

On Saturday, February 14th, the big carnival parade will take place in Enkhuizen!

Prince Casa de Padel will lead our parade through the city. Will you come watch or join in?

Every year during Carnival, there’s a parade of beautifully decorated floats and gaily adorned walkers. The Haringhoppers, Enkhuizen’s carnival association, make it a huge party every year. The parade makes its way through Westerstraat to Town Hall, where the mayor hands over the key to the city to our prince. He’ll be the city’s boss for the duration of Carnival! Who knows what that will bring?

You can also participate in the parade.

You don’t need to be a member, just sign up. Whether you’re coming alone or with a group, it’s guaranteed to be a super fun and festive parade through the city center: music, spectators, and tons of fun together!

When: Saturday, February 14, 2026

Start: 1:00 PM Syngenta parking lot

End: approximately 3:00 PM at the Nieuwe Doelen

Award ceremony: after the children’s afternoon in the Nieuwe Doelen
