Sinterklaas is in Enkhuizen and we are celebrating! The streets are nicely decorated with festive lights, there is PietenPret, Pietendorp, Pietendisco swimming…. and children can join a free fun Pieten Speurtocht through Enkhuizen!

Putting shoes at De Eendracht in Van Bleiswijk
Until December 1, all children from Enkhuizen may put their shoe at De Eendracht in Van Bleiswijk. Sint and Piet will visit there every Friday night to fill it. Collect your shoe tag in the restaurant and come and play in the new play corner!
Shoeboxing & Saint's Day libation
Will you come and put your shoe in at Brewery de Werf on Friday, November 24? Between 4 and 6 p.m. you may come and sing a song for St. Nicholas! And Sinterklaas does not skip the moms & dads, for 2.50 he puts something hoppy in their shoe!
Disco swimming with peeps
Will you also come and swing together with the disco pieten?
Then come to Enkhuizerzand Swimming Pool on Friday, November 24 from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.!
PietenPret! and Shopping Sunday
Saturday November 25th
On Saturday, November 25, it is PietenPret! in the shopping street! Between 12.30 and 16.30 there will be lots of Pieten in the Westerstraat and Vijzelstraat. Take part in the games and find out if you are a good Helper-Piet. With a full stamp card you may grab a present.
Sunday 26 November
Sunday, November 26 you are welcome during the shopping Sunday. You can buy nice presents at the Meiden van de Wit, Top1Toys, Lingerie Marijke, Tierlantijn and Label Noord. For delicious Sint treats go to Bakkerij Rood, the Broodhuys, the Coffy-Huys and Aurélie’s pop-up store.
Pieten Speurtocht Enkhuizen
Especially for all children in and around Enkhuizen, Verstoppiet has hidden all kinds of fun assignments in the town center. Together they form the one and only Pieten Speurtocht Enkhuizen.
Pieten Speurtocht Enkhuizen is available free of charge from Het Coffy-Huys and Meiden van De Wit until Tuesday, December 5.
The route description includes a Speurpieten notepad. Please bring your own pen or pencil. Young participants receive a real Speurpieten-button (while supplies last) and can also win a nice prize.
You can do the treasure hunt at your own pace, all at once or in several stages.
Pietendorp in the Zuiderzee Museum
Saturday, November 25, Sunday, November 26 and Sunday, December 3.
Danceieten, Bakpieten, Sportpieten and Fanfarepieten … they are all in the party! On November 25 & 26 and December 3 it is time again for Pietendorp in the Zuiderzee Museum. More than 150 Pieten will take up residence in the Outdoor Museum. The gingerbread bakery is in full swing and the dancing Piets will teach the children their latest dance moves. New this edition is the Silent Pieten Disco.
St. Nicholas walk
WSV ‘De Haringstadters’ is organizing its annual Sint Nicolaas walk through Enkhuizen and surroundings on November 25 and 26. The start is from the Stationscafé, Stationsplein 2 in Enkhuizen.
The 25 and 20 km start between 09.00 and 11.00 am. The 15, 10 and 5 km start between 10.00 and 13.00 hours. The entry fee for members of a recognized walking sports association is 4.- euros and for non-members 5.- euros. Purchasing a medal is possible for 2,- euros. Children up to 12 years may walk for free with a paying companion, this does not include a medal. After the walk there is a treat. Pieten restaurant
On November 25, 26 and December 2, 3 it is time again. Then the Sint and his Pieten will visit the Strandpaviljoen in Enkhuizen. The Strandpaviljoen is decorated as a pieten restaurant for 4 days. Come together with the children and enjoy an evening full of Pieten and maybe Sinterklaas will drop by too! Book your table quickly at 06-57806337.
Baking peppercorns
Rolling dough, making circles and after baking your own pepernoten to take home! With Sinterklaas arriving again, the cooks of De Eendracht will teach you how to bake the most delicious pepernoten. Walk in on November 29 around 2:30 p.m. and join in!

During the 2-hour workshop under the guidance of two top chocolatiers, you will pipe a delicious chocolate cream letter, decorate it and make another Saint figure of your choice. A fun outing especially for parent and child. Are you going to make Sinterklaas chocolate?

Pop-up store Aurélie patisserie
November 18, dear good Saint Nicholas will arrive in our country. A great moment for Aurélie patisserie to open a pop-up store in the Westerstraat number 86 (in café van Bleiswijk). Here they will sell speculaas bags, chocolate letters and pepernoten crompouce, among other things. Will you pay them a visit too? As always, there is plenty to taste!
