At the tea garden you can also go for an extensive High Tea or a tea tasting. Even if the weather is less beautiful, you can sit dry in the large garden room at the tea garden.
You can take a break from your bike ride or hike at fruit farm ‘t Keetje in Lutjebroek, with coffee and delicious homemade apple pie or a tasty sandwich. You can also order a High Tea or a farmer’s lunch (in advance). New is the picnic. These are backpacks filled with all kinds of goodies like fruit salad, ciabatta rolls and a bottle of juice to enjoy on the go!
Stop off for a delicious organic ice cream! The Schapenstreek in Lutjebroek is an organic dairy and care farm and a nice stopping point during a bike ride. You can also moor your boat there and enjoy a delicious organic ice cream in the yard. In the barn you can watch the lambs. In the farm store you can find home-made products such as cheese and dairy, but you can also buy other products such as wool and creams made from sheep’s wool fat.
At IJgenweis food & drink in the Streekbos in Bovenkarspel, you step into a trendy restaurant with a great view and a fantastic terrace. You can have a drink, enjoy tapas or delicious lunch or dinner dishes from the menu. The love for local products, surprising buffets and the cozy interior make IJgenweis food & drink suitable for a stopover!
In the tea garden of Hertenkamp Enkhuizen you can enjoy a beautiful view of the deer park. From the terrace you can admire the deer, spot birds and for the children there is a playground and petting zoo. Inside, the eclectic decor creates a homely atmosphere and you can play or relax reading a book. Also take a walk through the nature garden.
